One of the more enigmatic album in italian discography, which has sparked lengthy discussions among collectors has been unearthed by Cinedelic Records who found the original masters and put an exclamation mark on the year of production: 1977. "Profondità" is a double LP of strongly progressive and psychedelic tunes with space, underwater, intimate and rarefied atmospheres. It's also an explicit tribute to Pink Floyd; many tracks are properly cover versions ("One of these days","Echoes", "Shine on you crazy diamond", "A saucerful of secrets", "Time", "Born to Run", "Welcome to the Machine"). Include also funky and groovy tunes (D4, D5, B4, A1). Paolo Ferrara was the author of many success pop songs in 60s, and later, in 70's, produced many soundtrack's and library music.
